My degree is a B.S.B.A. with a major in Computers. My initial experience as an instructor was with Chubb Computer Services in Parsippany where I taught their TopGun program, including three computer programming languages. Since then my experience in instructing consisted of corporate training, Passaic Community College, Eastwick College and Bergen Community College as well as, adult schools, GED and substitute teaching.
I have been teaching, instructing and educating in these areas for 20 years. My daughter, who is presently in the eigth grade, is excelling in several subjects, especially Math, Algebra and basic Geometry. It is in this area that I am especially fond of teaching.

Gerry is very patient , knowledgeable and understanding. I learned a great deal in a short time. I look forward to learning more from Gerry. We covered the basics and also started some intermediate applications. Gerry came prepared with a pre-planned excercises to guide our session so there was no down time.
Gerry B. has a natural enthusiasm for teaching and an excellent ability to communicate with people. Gerry truly enjoys the content of what he teaches which makes his enthusiasm for the subject contagious.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have been a COBOL programmer with Metlife, NJ Transit, Merck/Medco, and UPS. I taught COBOL programming at CHUBB Computer School and Tier Technology. My introduction classes starting with the 4 divisions and basic structured coding.
In the area of Computer Science I have taught several different courses with CHUBB Computer Services as well as area Adult schools for about 15 years. From introduction to computers, to M.S. Excel, M.S. WORD, M.S. PowerPoint, etc.
