As for my experience tutoring, I grew up in a family of teachers, teaching my entire life. I began with volunteering at various science camps as an instructor. Through highschool I worked with my School as a math tutor working with other students to help with algebra, geometry, and calc. My senior year of Highschool I spent half of my day teaching English and Math classes in Spanish with my School's English Language Learners. I have tutored professionally online for a year now and I focus primarily on SAT tutoring and Math. I love tutoring because it allows me to work with students and aid them in accomplishing their academic goals, whatever they may be.
I am a great math tutor as I have completed various mathematics course up to calculus three. On the SAT I got a perfect score on the Math section with a 1480 overall. I have been tutoring students in mathematics for over five years and have instructed classes in Spanish!
Spanish is a language that I picked up due to my unique hometown being largely Hispanic. Many students at my school did not speak English and I worked with these students directly. I have completed collegiate Spanish courses, as well as each level of high school Spanish.
I took the ASVAB two years ago when enlisting into the Army and I got a perfect score on my first try. This test, though it may be holistic in make-up, is very similar to that of the SAT. The heart of the ASVAB is mathematics, and that is my strong point.
I look forward to working with you!
