Hello! I’m Shweta, a patient and supportive math tutor who works with students across Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. I hold a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, which has strengthened my communication skills and deepened my appreciation for patience, structure, and individualized learning. With over 17 years of experience as a home educator and nearly two years of professional online math tutoring, I’ve developed a strong ability to personalize instruction based on each student’s unique needs. My experience spans a variety of curricula and learning styles, allowing me to adapt lessons for both remediation and enrichment.

In addition to tutoring, I’ve worked as an Instructional and Swing Substitute in Elementary and Middle Schools, where I earned Swing Hero Status with a perfect score of 100.0. As an online math tutor on the Varsity Tutors platform, I’ve supported students by using visual strategies, scaffolding, and real-life examples to build strong foundations, while helping older students develop problem-solving strategies and confidence when tackling multi-step problems. I focus on building trust, modeling clear thinking, and helping students become independent learners who take ownership of their progress.

Clear communication and reliability are central to my tutoring approach. I maintain strong relationships with families through thoughtful feedback and timely responses, typically replying to student and parent messages within a few hours and always within 24 hours.
