I am a highly educated individual and an experienced certified teacher. Before adopting teaching as a profession, I was a vice-president at JP Morgan Chase. I have worked in West-Windsor Plainsboro and surrounding school districts for over 10 years. I have taught math, English and Spanish. I tutor for the SAT and ACT both privately and at one of the premier test prep centers in the area.
When I tutor privately, I do not have a preset curriculum. I begin all tutoring with a new student by giving a diagnostic test to determine strengths and weaknesses. I tailor my instruction to a student’s individual needs to ensure that they perform at their very best.
In addition to helping students score their highest on college admission tests, I also help students write their college application essays. I can help them write common application essays that highlight their uniqueness, and I can also help with those more difficult, quirky essays from elite colleges.
Successful students of mine have gained admission to very selective colleges. ranging from Yale, Caltech, MIT and UPenn to Vassar, Pomona, Rutgers, and Franklin and Marshall.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
