Study Skills

I am highly qualified in English and have a BA and MA in Special Education. I have worked with students for the last 15 years that have various learning and physical disabilities; therefore, I have acquired an ample amount of study skill methods over the years. I have worked with elementary through high school students. My three main computer study programs I use are StudyStacks (online flash cards and games), Spelling City (helps you practice and prepare for a spelling quiz), and Kahoot (helps to prepare for a test or quiz). I have found extreme success in the classroom with these programs. The benefits of these programs is the fact that the information is saved in an account, so one can study continuously. I have experience in Cornell Note-taking; highlighting key words to prepare for vocabulary quizzes; coming up with mnemonic devices; creating notecards; etc. I work until I find a study method suitable for the student.
