I have 27 years teaching experience, and I have been teaching in the same top rated district for the last 23 years. I am certified in Elementary Education and Special Education. Most of my experience is in 7th grade, but I have worked with students ranging from 3rd grade to high school. I always have above average rating in my observations and my classroom is welcoming to my students. I can connect with your child in a warm-friendly way which will help open the door to learning.
My teaching experience includes working with classified and non-classified students in special education and regular education settings. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
