Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Econometrics

Econometrics is one of the subjects I completed when I was in the MFE program, which is master's in financial engineering in Haas Business School, UC Berkeley. It is a must know when you work in financial market and I used to be working in financial market. Moreover, my major statistics covers most of the key components of econometrics.

Linear Algebra

Linear algebra is basic subject for linear regression and all other statistics subjects. I took this subject when I was in college and also taught this subject when I was a statistics professor.
