I am a graduate of Yeshiva University where I studied Hebrew, Jewish Law, and took course in Chazanut (cantorial services). During my time at Yeshiva, I tutored children across New York City and Northern New Jersey in preparation for their bar or bat mitzvah. I am a warm, patient, relatable, and knowledgeable tutor. I love partnering with my students as they learn, excel, and gain confidence in their ability to overcome challenges - regardless of skill level. A bar or bat mizvah is about so much more than singing from the Torah, and my students come away with a deeper knowledge of the Torah's beautiful teachings which they can apply in their own lives.
I am originally from Teaneck, New Jersey, where I was raised in a Modern Orthodox Ashkenazi home. My wife is from Canada, and together we have two beautiful boys (who I hope to one day work with on their bar mitzvah lessons!).
