Bio

I have tutored quite a few students in high school and college. My passion is really helping students, specifically in elementary and high school mathematics. So many students in my experience, treat learning mathematics as dreadful, but I want to make it where the student will love engaging in problem sets or studying for quizzes and exams. It’s not about the grade you receive at the end of course, it’s about understanding what your task is at hand and being patient and never giving up even...

I have tutored quite a few students in high school and college. My passion is really helping students, specifically in elementary and high school mathematics. So many students in my experience, treat learning mathematics as dreadful, but I want to make it where the student will love engaging in problem sets or studying for quizzes and exams. It’s not about the grade you receive at the end of course, it’s about understanding what your task is at hand and being patient and never giving up even if you received at bad test score. There were numerous times where I myself struggled in a particular area, but that's part of the life of mathematics. There may be topics you excel in while there are others you have a difficult time to grasp, but that's totally normal, so don't get down on yourself when you get a particular problem incorrect. There is always time to improve upon. Even the greatest mathematicians spend years trying to prove a theorem :)

I am confident I can tutor any students, in Algebra One, Algebra Two, Trigonometry, Pre Algebra, Geometry, or Elementary Education as I have sufficient grades in all of these courses. Additionally, some of the courses I have taken includes all three calculus classes, ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, numerical analysis, real analysis, probability and statistics, foundations of mathematics (proofs), programming and problem solving, linear algebra, and physics I and II calculus based. I also finished with a 3.54 GPA, and got a deans list three different times throughout my undergrad career.

I just graduated from Stockton University with a bachelor of science in mathematics , and would love to help those that are struggling with math, and make it super enjoyable as well! Feel free to reach out to me to schedule your first lesson at any time or day during the week!

I passed pre calculus honors in high school with a B plus average, and was a teacher assistant in my senior year of high school. Additionally, I used trigonometry on a day to day basis in a majority of my college classes such as Calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and foundations of mathematics.
