While looking at this I hope you are interested in working with me. I am a college student that works while attending classes with experience in teaching young adults. I helped High School teachers in particular setting up courses in Math and Science while have experience being a student teacher at the college level for nutrition. Recently I donate some time every week in a certificate medical capacity on the state level. I have worked through stressful situations and casual situations through one on one teaching and continue to improve while being flexible with each student. I also like to keep thing interesting so that you can retain the information more readily.

I have practical applications and experience with businesses on teaching each student what to expect and how to use math to help themselves. I have taught others on applying real world applications on how they learn math up to the Algebra level to keep their interest and improve their understanding of the material. I follow the curriculum given to the student by finding out what they are and starting from the beginning to go over general concepts with a couple practice problems. Should a student feel they want to improve in certain areas especially in simple math or general algebra equations I help show some short cuts that will make them think outside of the box some of which may be useful in test preparations on the SATs. I find general student weaknesses and elaborate and go over the concept before going in depth on best ways to solve each problem.
A large experience of my working knowledge in the sciences, with experience in laboratory chemistry, medical anatomy and physiology while working towards a bachelor's of science in nutrition. I have experience in each area in a real world application as well as helping teach those whom are wanting to learn. For the sciences I like to focus on general concepts and work towards specialized concepts such as ecology or cell biology. I help go over how cell structure are in animals and plants and describe the function to each part in response to their ecological factors. Such as how a cactus allows very little water to transfer through the leaves to retain more in the vacuoles in the plant cell. And how the color green allows the creation of ATP through chloroplasts (an AP biology concept as well as chemistry). I like to review notes and go over and help students memorize facts that allow them more retention on material and help improve test scores.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taken advanced Nutrient Metabolism in college. Two 400 level courses that have covered macronutrients consisting of carbohydrates, proteins and fats down to the ultra-trace minerals that we need to ingest to function properly. I have also experimented personally on weight fluctuation and diet and weight loss techniques. I have also cooked and sampled different cultural dishes from around the world.
