My name is Dina, and I am a Private Tutor in New England. I have been employed by two different colleges in the state of New Hampshire. Being a little older than some of the typical tutors, I like to consider myself as "seasoned". I particularly have found that quite a few of the older students recognized the compassion and patience I exhibited when working with their peers. I enjoy working with elementary, middle school, high school and college students.
One of my greatest sources of enjoyment comes from seeing my students succeed academically, as they are striving for and achieving their goals and dreams. I love the fact that I can be part of this process!
I love tutoring English! I excel at research, APA and MLA citation requirements, proofreading, editing and helping students put their thoughts onto paper. I am able to ask questions that elicit responses they didn't even know they had!
For the last four years, I have been employed by local colleges to tutor English, Math, Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology l & ll, Medical Ethics and Law, Psychology and Nutrition. I was also readily available for walk in students needing any type of help researching topics or writing papers. I'm currently tutoring Forensic Psychology, and proofreading and editing college level research papers.
Please let me know if I can be of any assistance. I would love to help and I look forward to hearing from you! Hello,

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
