Keene State College (Education, Spanish)
My name is Lindsay and I am a graduate of Keene State College, where I majored in Early Childhood Education and Spanish. While at Keene State I was able to study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 4.5 months. Playing sports, listening to music, singing and dancing are some of my passions.
I have a love for Spanish language/culture and enjoy conversing in Spanish with others when I can. I was also a work study Spanish tutor during my last two years of college. While there, I provided students help with their essays, grammar or any other questions they needed answered.
Additionally, I have had experience working with people with special needs by volunteering for Special Olympics. My brother is a Special Olympian so this is something we enjoy doing together. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I am able to encourage the Olympians while also participating in the event with them.
I hope this has given you a glimpse as to what type of person/teacher I am. I enjoy helping others and am very easy to work with. I look forward to tutoring you in the future.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
