I have been working with students to improve their math skills for the last 5 years in many different settings. I have worked with elementary students to help bolster their basics, middle school students to build their algebra skills, and high school students to understand the fine points of geometry. I use my love of math to find the best approach for each student.
That being said, I try to make math fun. Math is a challenging subject for many people out there! Even Einstein was a poor mathematician. My approach to teaching math includes hands-on lessons, strategies, math games and problem solving. I try to bring a little fun to a stressful subject.

My son was struggling with geometry and as a result began to shut down. We recently contacted Tracey to help him with his challenges. As soon as the first session, he came away more positive and confident. Tracey was quickly able to identify concepts that need to be focused on. We highly recommend Tracey as she is very knowledgeable in the subject matter, patient and flexible. We look forward to working with her for the remainder of the school year!
She's a generous tutor! She knows everything about algebra and is a great teacher! And just a really nice person. Look no further.
My daughter was pleased with her midterm grade and subsequent tests in this new term. She continues to be motivated to do well.
Tracey is efficient, patient, and reliable. My daughter's Pre-Algebra grade has gone from a 71 to an 85 in two weeks. I would highly recommend Tracey.
Tracy was a very knowledgeable tutor, she went at a pace that I was comfortable with and she had a lot of patience!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
