My 5th grade son really enjoyed spending time with Michelle practing Math. She was very patient and helped him focus on the task at hand. Michelle understands that there is more the process than simply the math. Highly recommend her!
Michelle is not only very good at math, she clearly enjoys it, and can translate a difficult topic very well. That combination along with her calm voice and positive attitude make her a great tutor. I'm grateful, she's given my daughter confidence and improved grades.
Michellevo made feel confortable when ask about my problems with math. I like keep Michelle and her knowledge in math.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
