My 16 year old son completed an accelerated on line math course. Essentially completing 11th grade math in 3 and 1/2 months. Having an effective and skillful tutor was key to his success. David is an outstanding tutor. From day 1 he connected with my son and explained very complex math in an easy to understand way. David went above and beyond to meet my son's needs and helped him meet the fast approaching deadline. I strongly recommend David as a math tutor.

David was absolutely great with my daughter assisting her with Algebra 2. He is patient, courteous, punctual and above all permitted her to gain the understanding of the concepts by having her demonstrate and explain the process back to him at each inflection point.

David helped my daughter understand mathematical concepts in a clear manner. She was thrilled that she was able to catch on so quickly with David's help.

He is very patient, shows up on time, and was of great help! I highly recommend David as a tutor.

We worked on differentiation and its relationship to graphs. We worked through several examples of computing derivatives using limits and on identifying graph characteristics based on slope and concavity.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have taught algebra classes at both the high school and community college levels.

I have taught discrete mathematics as an adjunct professor at Wentworth Institute. In addition, I have employed many of the topics of discrete mathematics (e.g., logic, matrix manipulation, graphs, combinatorics, probability) in my role as Principal Artificial Intelligence engineer at the Mitre Corporation.
