Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher. While student teaching as part of my undergraduate program, I worked with middle school and high school aged students teaching English literature and writing. I was also a writing tutor/mentor for two years while working towards my undergraduate degree. While English is a passion of mine, I love math as well.
I received my Master's Degree from Simmons College in Severe Special Needs and am currently a certified teacher in NH. I have experience working with children aged K-12 in public school settings, as well as working with children and adults with severe developmentally delays in a residential and school setting.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
