Thank you for clicking on my profile.

I am a board-certified, practicing doctor of physical therapy, clinic owner, and former tutor for two of the nation's most prestigious tutoring companies.

I have a bachelor's degree in biology with a pre-medical concentration; a doctorate in physical therapy; and ABA certification (applied behavioral analysis) from the Center for Autism and Related Disorders.

Prior to returning to school for my doctorate, I owned and ran my own tutoring company and have continued to tutor, even now that I am a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, out of a genuine love of teaching others.

I tutor a wide variety of subjects ranging from GRE prep to graduate level math and science courses. I have extensive experience helping students, (including ESL students), to successfully navigate the admissions process to Ivy League schools. I also edit essays and curriculum vitae.

I am currently accepting students who are working on their doctorates in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other similar graduate-level programs; preparing for their NPTE board exams; editing their theses/admissions essays; and preparing for the GRE.

Please, let me know if you have any additional questions!

Additionally, I attended Tulane University for two years until Hurricane Katrina displaced me. Subsequently, I had to thoroughly research and attend several universities prior to finding the right one for me and completing my B.S.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

Activity analysis, occupational profile and much more. I learned how to break an activity in steps, and the components that make up a client's occupational profile.

Amazing Instructor!

Brett did a great job getting an idea of my current strengths/weaknesses and preferred style of studying/learning, and was able to quickly get the lesson started and with some homework assignments for further reviewing. I felt good after one session and will definitely continue working with her.
