I will be unavailable from 2/17/2020 until 2/29/2020 . I have taught high school mathematics for 23 years with over 10 or more years experience in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Precalculus. I have successfully tutored several people as well over the past twenty plus years. (Personal recommendations are available upon request).
I have a thorough understanding of high school mathematics and which skills are needed in more advanced math or math related classes. When I was in college we had to take at least 30 math credits in order to graduate. Now some math teachers needs as little as 10 to become an “alternatively certified” to teach mathematics but their background is not sufficient to really understand the subject along with the ability to explain it well.
Many of my colleagues are of this category and frankly, their math skills show it. Many times I hear students coming from the drop in math tutoring center say,”I went their but the teacher did not know how to solve the problem.” That doesn’t happen to me.
Contact me soon I can't take too many people beacause I work full time every day teaching math.
