Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Clarinet

I began private music lessons on the piano at age 5. I began the clarinet at age 7. At first through the school. Then about the start my freshman year I began to study privately with Mr. Murray Colosimo, of Ridgewood, N.J. I gained first seat with the high school Orchestra and Band, I also played in the wind ensemble before school. I auditioned for the Bergen County Youth Orchestra, and played the Bass Clarinet for Mahler's 9th.
I attended Dartmouth College and was a founding member of the wind quintet.

Elementary (K-6th)

I was accepted to and graduated from Dartmouth College. Also, Vermont Law School. I was active in the Lebanon School District for a few years. I am currently an active substitute at Hanover High School.

Theatre

I hold an A.B. in Drama from Dartmouth College. My specialty has always been in character work. I was a member of Actors' Equity until I resigned due to health concerns. That was about 3 years ago. I have worked at: Dartmouth Summer Rep., The Hartford Stage Company, The Peterborough Players, The New London Barn, North Eastern Shakespeare Company.
