Dartmouth College (Biology)
In 2012, I graduated from Dartmouth College, where I majored in Biology. The next year, I became certified in Elementary Education through Dartmouth's graduate program. I have taught every grade and subject, and have worked one-on-one with children with Autism, ADD, ADHD, and Dyslexia.
I love teaching, and also the challenge of teaching individuals successfully. I enjoy figuring out their misconceptions, whether surface-level or deeply rooted, so that learning becomes exciting and fun for them.
With regard to age, I am comfortable teaching elementary (any subject), and high school math, reading, writing, and science. I can also tutor in SAT prep. My approach is different depending on the age and subject, but I am always thorough, flexible, and enthusiastic! Hi!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
After attending Dartmouth College for undergrad, I became certified in Elementary Education through their Teacher Education Program. I have been teaching in public schools since then, as a permanent substitute and para-professional. I have experience in all the subjects, and know multiple teaching methods for conveying the material.
