Math is easy when it is explained the right way. I majored in Mathematics and Education in college, seeking to become a secondary math teacher. Unfortunately real life got in the way and I had to leave school with about only 10% of my studies left to complete. Since then I have occasionally tutored students with great success (turned D's into A's), but this is my first foray into tutoring professionally. While tutoring and working towards completing my degree and teacher certification, I have also been substitute teaching in public schools. Many students claim to learn more from me in a day that they have during an entire semester from their regular teacher. Friends and family have always told me how wonderful I am at teaching and that I have a natural ability to explain things in a way that makes them easy to understand.
My approach to tutoring math is to keep it simple. I will show you step by step how to get the right answer. I tutor all courses of Mathematics from K-12. I am also available for tutoring many Science and Computers subjects.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
