As the description above states, I am a young, energetic, and highly motivated current biology teacher who loves teaching his subject. Science has always been my passion and my favorite part about being a teacher is the ability to share that passion with my students. As a teacher in Massachusetts, I am keenly aware of the importance of biology in the freshman curriculum as the end of the first year in high school is marked by the biology MCAS exam. I will work with your child to ensure they feel prepared and perform to the best of their ability come exam day.
Student engagement is my strong point as my knowledge and passion for the subject shines during my lessons. I am also extremely approachable and relatable. I challenge my students academically, and also personally! I wear a different bow-tie for every day of the school year and if they catch me wearing the same one, they get to keep the bow-tie!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
