As for the flute side of things, I’ve played the flute for 14 years. I’m involved with community bands and continue to take lessons. I have a minor in music and knowledge of music theory and ear training. Music is a passion that I’d love to share with others. I will accept beginning and beginning-intermediate students.

Very flexible, knowledgeable and helpful. She has a great understanding of high school french and works well with high school students. She really wanted to be prepared and ask for material in advance. She came to our house which was great and really helped with last minute flexibility.
Hi Tracey, thank you so much for the testimonial. I hope the exam went well!
Megan came prepared with a plethora of resources and activities for the lesson. She gave me plenty to work with for practice between sessions.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have played the flute for 14 years, taking lessons and participating in wind symphonies and ensembles throughout my education. I minored in Music in college, and have knowledge of music theory and ear training, classical repertoire and jazz. Playing the flute is one of my greatest passions, while I've never taught before I have played with less advanced students where I played an instructive role. I have approximately a years tutoring experience in other subjects. With flute, my method would be to ensure basic techniques so the student has the knowledge they need to advance, and to consider their personal musical goals to build a lesson around.
