Hi, I'm Justin. I'm an Applied Mathematics Computation major at the University of New Hampshire; meaning my schedule is heavy on mathematics and computer science courses. Hi, I'm Justin. I'm an Applied Mathematics Computation major at the University of New Hampshire; meaning my schedule is heavy on mathematics and computer science courses. Throughout my courses, I've gathered study groups amongst friends to help review and understand difficult concepts. I transitioned to personal tutoring when I realized I could help other students struggling in their classes. I've been a personal tutor for students in high school and college since 2019. Since 2020 I've also been a physics learning assistant at my college, meaning I help to run physics recitation classes where I supervise and assist students in completing assignments and clarifying concepts.

I believe each person has a unique learning style that's most beneficial for them. I've experience first hand how an alternative approach can clarify an important topic, and the relief associated with finally understanding and completing a frustrating problem. My style of teaching and tutoring focuses on core concepts, reiterating the big picture ideas so student's not only understand what they're doing, but why they're doing it, and how to apply those concepts to specific applications.

I've been a mathematics tutor since 2019, helping numerous students in algebra, precalculus, and calculus topics. Whether you're a non-STEM student taking your last mathematics course and looking to pass, or you plan to go into a STEM career and want to set a solid foundation for years of mathematics to come, my focus on big picture ideas may be perfect for your needs.

If you're struggling to understand a topic, are unsure how to begin practical problems on your own, or if you need review of older topics, I would strongly suggest reaching out to me. I'd be more than happy to talk to you about your needs, and help you determine if my style of teaching will work for you.
