I have over 25 years experience with Elementary students. As a school psychologist, I am trained in teaching study skills, executive functioning skills, test anxiety, social skills and more to help address underlying weaknesses in order to be able to address the academic need.
I am usually available from 9am to 7pm. I will work with you to be flexible to your schedule. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been working in schools for 25 years in the fields of teaching and school psychology. I am certified in NH in both areas. I have extensive training in working with students with ADD and executive functions skills. I will give direct instruction in strategies to help with ADHD and EF while incorporating it into academic services.
