I have a BS in Biomedical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration. I have a passion for math and science and as a result my 3 children have also entered the sciences. My oldest just completed a PhD in Biochemistry, the next is a Nurse and working on a Nurse Practioner degree and the youngest just completed a degree in Industrial Engineering. I helped them all (and still do). I have also created and taught several classes at GE Healthcare where I worked in engineering for over 10 years.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
