“**Great first lesson!**”

Greetings! If you are reading my profile, it is probably because you are looking for some tutoring for either yourself or your child in high school or college mathematics courses including: Pre-algebra, (Honors) Geometry, Trigonometry, (Honors) Algebra I/II, (Honors) Pre-calculus, (AP) Calculus, or (Honors/AP) Physics. I am currently enrolled at

Elliott is approved to conduct lessons through Wyzant Online. Wyzant Online allows students and tutors to work remotely via video, audio, and collaborative whiteboard tools. For more information about how online tutoring works, check out Wyzant Online.

Elliott helped me while I took a test online for my college algebra 140 class. Just having him there to help verify my work and answer questions I had about the work was a huge confidence boost! I'll definately have him there for my next test.

Elliott French is a proficient tutor, who teaches Calculus to my son. Elliott is patient and very through in sharing his math skills with my son. We're happy to have him as a tutor.

Helped through small parts of a couple chapters that I was struggling with and was able to clear everything up

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I am qualified to tutor ACT math because its concepts act as the foundation of many upper-level math courses which I have excelled in. Without proper knowledge of Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry, no student will be able to adequately perform in Calculus or Discrete Math.

I am qualified to tutor Algebra 1 because these concepts have been used throughout my entire mathematical career.

I am qualified to tutor Algebra II because these concepts have been used throughout my entire mathematical career. For example, in Differential Equations, we use imaginary and complex numbers, logarithms, and rational expressions—all of which are key concepts learned and refined in Algebra II.

I have recently taken Calculus courses and continue to use its formulae in other classes.

As a Civil Engineering Major, I have taken many of the fundamental civil engineering courses such as fluid mechanics, soil foundations, mechanics of elastic bodies, statics, and dynamics. I have excelled in all of these areas because each of their concepts are necessary throughout my entire educational career. Furthermore, the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam after my graduation will determine my position in the field.

For my Mathematics Minor, one of the courses I was required to take was Discrete Math. This is due to the fact that its concepts, such as set theory, number theory, combinatorics, mathematical logic, and discrete geometry, play a tremendous role in understanding many abstract math concepts. For example, without proper knowledge of binary expansion, I would be lost when writing program scripts.

I am qualified to tutor Elementary Math because these concepts have been used throughout my entire mathematical career.

I am qualified to tutor Geometry because its concepts have played a huge role in many of the upper-level mathematics courses I have taken. For example, Calculus II and Calculus III both rely greatly on equations of planes and 3-dimensional shapes.

I received an A+ in my college-level Linear Algebra course which was the very last math course required to complete my Mathematics minor which is paired with my Civil Engineering major.

I am qualified to tutor physical science because its concepts, such as kinematics and thermodynamics, have acted as the foundation of my college-level science courses as as Physics I & II and Thermal Physics.

I have recently taken college level Physics courses and continue to use its formulae in other classes due to my decided major.

I have recently taken higher level math courses which demand proficiency in basic algebra.

I have recently taken higher level Calculus courses which involve Pre-Calculus methods. As for Physics, I am quite familiar with Newtonian Mechanics as I have been tested extensively on its concepts in my college Physics courses.

I am qualified to tutor SAT math because its concepts act as the foundation of college-level mathematics courses such as differential equations and number theory.

I have recently taken Calculus courses which often rely heavily on trig identities.
