I started tutoring math in 2011 to Metropolitan Community College students here in Omaha Nebraska. The range was from high school to adult persons that had troubles in basic math, advanced math, and accounting 1-2. I tutored for a couple of semesters before I went off to work for Metro’s business department. At this time I had high school children that needed that extra help and seeing that I was tutoring, well they have had sessions of their own. I had a success rate in students that showed improvement in there understanding for the subject.
My approach to tutoring is making the examples match the individual. What that means is I get to know you and your interests, so when I bring an example, it would be of interest. I like to have students smile because It makes the process of solving a problem or understanding the subject easier and you’ll feel more confident. I tutored according to the persons needs and personality. Most of the time subjects are not made interesting, well I would be the one to make it interesting for the both of us. I am able to make it relate to the you. I look at each person as if it was myself at one point. Seeing as the subjects that I tutor, I myself had excellent scores.
When you contact me I will take time to get to know you so we can then start the subject at matter. When I can relax you then you are able to ask the questions you feel comfortable. Sometimes we do not know what questions to ask so I am here for you to get you to that point.
