My name is Kelly. I am currently attending Mayville State University for Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. Previously, I attended Chipola College in Marianna, FL. My hobbies include CrossFit, painting, and golfing.
I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. My experiences working with children are quite varied. I started to babysit at age 13. My first summer job was taking care of four children and have been taking care of children ever since. In addition, I worked at Along The Way Early Education Center for a year and a half while I attended college. My position there was the lead teacher for the three and four year old classroom. This was my first experience in a child care settings. I fell in love with interacting with children. During the school term I would also tutor Elementary students after school and assist with Standardized Testing Practice
Math is my favorite subject and I enjoy tutoring students.
I am currently enrolled in the Elementary Education BA program at Mayville State University. I am very excited on becoming a teacher.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
