I am a substitute teacher for the Wake County Public School System. I like to teach English, Basic reading skills, elementary math, spelling vocabulary, science and I even work with children with physical and mental disabilities.
I hold a bachelor's degree, a master's degree and currently working on my Ph.D. I enjoy teaching and my goal is to teach on the college level in the future. However, I do believe that a successful student can become just that at any time but he or she must have basic reading and math concepts, and this can be obtained on the elementary, middle or high school level.
I've worked in many different areas throughout my lifetime, but have learned that teaching is my passion. I can help with English on a variety of levels including grammar, proofreading vocabulary and writing. I will do my best to assist you with passing grades, improved test grades, vocabulary, elementary math and the like.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
