My name is Lauren M. and I am a recent alumna from East Carolina University. In May 2015, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Studies with a minor in Business Administration. I am a health promotion enthusiast who is passionate about helping others be the best they can be and make healthy lifestyle choices that will improve their health and the quality of life.
Currently, I am working with Wilmington Treatment Center, a nationally recognized facility that offers addiction treatment services to adult men and women at three locations in North Carolina and South Carolina. I have taken on the position as their Insurance Verification Specialist beginning in September 2015.
I am a math GEEK. I have excelled in all math courses I have taken through high school and college. Math has always come easily to me, and has always been a "fun" subject to learn.
I am very computer savvy. Along with taking multiple computer programming courses, I utilized all different computer programs in every class during my college career. Currently, I use different forms of computer programs at work on a daily basis.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
