Knowledgeable and patient tutor

During my first lesson with her she patiently went through the lesson with me and kindly answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Erica to anyone trying to learn about music theory.

Knowledgeable, patient, and efficient.

Erica helped me with writing a personal statement for a law school application. In just three sessions, Erica helped me craft a fantastic end product, one that I would not have been able to do on my own. In addition, she is always upbeat, and her feedback is always constructive. I highly recommend Erica to others.

You are a delight to learn from. Thank you for having me as your student. The lesson was very fun and enjoyable to me. I particularly enjoy your input to revise the notes/chords in Bohemian Rhapsody to make it sound authentic. Happy Happy birthday to you!! See you next Tuesday.

Fast Response

We prepared for my music camp next week which involved a wide range of music techniques. She takes time to answer any question or concern. I feel "full" at the end of our session.

Best tutor I’ve had

I’ve been working with Erica the past seven months and I can’t recommend her enough. I’m an adult trying to learn piano with three kids under five and a demanding job. And I couldn’t imagine a better teacher to partner with me through it. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable (she has an amazing ear and hears every note I play or miss) but she is also patient and realistic about my schedule and what I can accomplish in a week. We set realistic goals for each week based on how much time I can dedicate to practicing and she also allows me to explore the music and songs I want to. She also never makes me feel guilty if I only get through one song in a week and will work through new songs with me every week during our time together. I’ve learned so much since I started. And I feel confident I could learn a lot of different and difficult songs as long as I can work through them with her. Highly recommend her!

AMCAS writing, Mentorship, and Writing Organizational skills

Erica has been in the process of helping review personal statements and the work and activities section of my application to medical school over the past few months! I was told about erica from a friend, who expressed erica's passion for writing, working hard to improve the writing and kind nature. It was all true. From the start, she made sure she had a strong idea of the type of essays I was interested in writing and made me feel so comfortable during each session. Her positive personality has made the process very fun too! The process of writing essays for medical school is no easy fleet, but erica has managed to make it so smooth for me and I am so grateful for her past experience working with so many other students in my boat. She has worked hard to help me organize my train of ideas and has coached me on how to write in a way that retains my personality while sounding professional (something that can take a non-writer a few years of experience). She has even purchased countless books about medical school writing to enhance her knowledge set on the most powerful types of essays. To me, that undoubtedly showed me her commitment to her students and I know my writing would not have progressed in the way it has without erica's support and helpful ideas. I would not have written as strong of an essay without ericas positive energy and essay writing guidance/life gudiance during a stressful time. I can't recommend Erica enough to other students in this process! She truly is the best at what she does!
