I am a college student currently enrolled at Cornell University, where I major in Human Development and plan to move on to a career in management consulting. I grew up in Charlotte, attending Charlotte Latin School from third through twelfth grade. I understand the importance of tutoring as it was essential for me during my formative years. When I transitioned to Latin, I worked with a tutor to learn cursive so I didn't fall behind. Tutoring taught me to fall in the love with the process of learning. I wasn't one of those kids who grasped concepts instantly, and my great teachers and tutors helped me to understand the value of hard work and that diligent practice can go a long way.

I scored in the in 96th percentile on my SAT math I subject test, 92% percentile on the math portion of the SAT, receive high marks in math throughout my academic career. I also received 5's on the AP exam for AB Calculus, Physics, and Statistics. I really enjoying teaching algebra and very concerned that students understand not only what to do, but why they are doing it.

I scored in the 99th percentile for my Critical reading SAT scores, received strong marks in English throughout my academic career in addition to being an avid reader from a young age in order to strengthen my vocabulary skills.

I did very well in my American History classes in addition to scoring a 5 the AP US History. American is something that I am personally very interested and continue to read and learn about it. I think I am able to discuss American History in a way that is both engaging and informative.

I am tutoring in Charlotte this summer and would love to schedule a time to talk!
