I am a certified Superior Level native Russian speaker with a degree in Education and more than 5 years of experience teaching Russian and English as Second Languages. I teach online, applying a communicative approach, which allows my students to develop the ability to speak and understand spoken Russian and English through practicing and fun.
I help students to prepare for tests such as s OPI in Russian and IELTS. Working on every section of the tests separately, I target to increase the overall test score. With a better understanding of the test structure and fixing the weak spots, the score could be dramatically increased.

Along with practical grammar understanding, I am proficient with technology, so I use all the advantages the Internet gives us to make my lessons as interactive and usable as possible.

My method is teaching through practicing and fun. During the lesson, we talk and play, and read, and also get some explaining done. This method is proofed to be the most effective and easy to comprehend.

I was graduated from the Russian Academy of Advocacy in 2008, and later on, re-qualified to get a proper education in teaching. Don't hesitate to ask any questions or schedule a test lesson. I usually have some openings in the second part of the day.

Such a patient and interesting tutor!

She is so great at accommodating my needs as a student - very flexible and interesting study plans and exercises. Very patient and knowledgeable tutor!

Working with Tatiana has helped with my anxiety of getting back to learning Russian. She works closely with you to gauge where you are and what you may want to work on to get better. Tatiana makes sure to take it slow when I hesitate and forget certain pronunciations, which helps me a lot! She is very friendly and wants to make sure you understand. What is also great is that, if you forget something, all you have to do is ask. If you're honest about not knowing a word or sentence, Tatiana will help you break it down so you can absorb every word. I really recommend Tatiana as a tutor, and as someone who gets nervous about not knowing something, she has helped me focus on getting better and finding ways to remember certain vocabulary and numbers!
