I am experienced in one-on-one and group tutoring for middle school up to college graduate students. My experience includes offering private lessons in algebra, geometry, and calculus to high school students as well as teaching college level engineering courses related to analog and power electronics circuit design. I have over 14 years of experience at IBM, where I have established design guides and taught related classes. Furthermore, I have just completed my PhD in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University (NCSU). At NCSU, I was employed as a Teacher Assistant, focusing on principle of electrical engineering, analog and power electronics (to include magnetics, transformers, circuits, etc.) courses.

I enjoy tutoring and take pride in strengthening the educational skills of my students. I believe that, in most cases, appropriate attitude is the driver behind effective teaching as well as fruitful learning. Based on my experience, with the right attitude, any average student is capable of mastering any subject. I truly believe that “where there is a will there is a way.”

I am very knowledgeable about Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Calculus, Geometry, Precalculus, and Calculus. I have taught private lessons about these subjects for the past 30 years.

I believe that I can teach you and make a significant difference in your ability to improve your grades. I do take pride in making my students be successful.
