In addition to my accounting degree, I have also worked with students with disabilities and providing educational plans. I have been in the Accounting field for over 30 years. Accounting and every thing to do with accounting is what I do. As a result I try to use everyday illustrations to help my students understand the process. Students use their workplace as an example of how their business would record a transaction. I also taught at Kings Business College for five years.
In Accounting, it is critical for students to master the correct terminology, both for understanding the problem and for exams. I use the correct terms to help them and in doing so I am able to determine where help is needed.
I use these tools very frequently. In doing so I am well versed in them to where I can teach them easily.
I have been an accountant for over 30 years, and a tax preparer for over 25 years. I have a lot of experience in these fields. I have also taught accounting and related courses which makes for a well rounded tutor.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
