About Gina

Hello! My name is Gina Pace. I am an EC Resource teacher for Franklin County Schools. I am passionate about teaching, especially to students with special needs. I was lucky enough to have found my passion early in life and have been working with children and adults with disabilities for over ten years. I have a B.S. in Special Education with a minor in Autism from Liberty University and am currently completing graduate courses for my M.A.T. in Special Education.

As a tutor, it is my job to tailor the instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners on an individual basis. I use a variety of strategies to reinforce content and give students the tools they need to be successful.

I have experience working with students from K-12 with specialization at the elementary level. I have worked with students with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and special medical conditions with a wide range of cognitive levels and abilities. I also understand the need for behavioral or environmental supports and will work with you on an individual basis to determine how else I can contribute to the student's success.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns. Open communication is very important to me, so please do not hesitate! :)

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
