I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Master's degree in Recreation Resources Management. I also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature at Tamkang University in Taipei, Taiwan.
I was trained and sent by Educational Services International, an international education exchange organization, to teach college and graduate students English in four different colleges in China.
Since 1998, I have been homeschooling my own children. My daughter graduated from University of Virginia in 2012 and earned her MS degree from Northwestern University in 2014. My older son recently graduated from The Master's College in California with a BS degree in Exercise Science and my younger son is a high school senior.
Currently, I work as an aftercare teacher and a substitute teacher (K-12) at Friendship Christian school and serve as a contract interpreter/translator of Christian Aid Missions in Charlottesville, VA.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I was born in Taiwan where Chinese is the official language. I currently serve as a off-site interpreter and translator for Christian Aid Missions in Charlottesville Va. I have finished translating two books from English into Chinese. I have served as interpreter for different delegations (either government or business) from Taiwan and China.
