I currently work in the Wake County School systems as a middle school and high school math teacher. I've loved math my whole life, and thoroughly enjoy teaching the subject that I'm passionate about. I'm originally from Chicago and transferred down to North Carolina to be a teacher.

As a tutor I will help identify any underlining struggles and focus on building those skills up. I want to make sure the student being tutored has a complete understanding of what they are doing. I'm a flexible teacher and tutor, and can work around any schedule. If you have any questions please feel free to ask, and I hope to hear from you.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
