Rachel was great!!! My son has a tendency to get off track and she would get him right back on track!! My son doesn't speak to anyone at first, but he was so comfortable that he was talking, and laughing with her! She made it fun for him! He loves her and wants her to come back! I'm excited that he's happy about learning!
Rachel has been a help to my 9 yr old daughter. She's nice and knowledgeable of NC teaching practices and guidelines and my daughter really likes her.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Grammar reveals how our language is structured. This includes the use of nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, tenses, and punctuation. We use grammar to create smooth, fluid speech, writing, and enhance our understanding while reading.
