I love languages and cultures. I majored in Spanish, with a lot of French thrown in (and speak fluent Estonian as well!), lived in Spain and Peru, and I have experience in interpreting for groups and individuals. I've also spent several years translating works from Spanish to English.
While I love working with words, I also love to work with students, opening their minds to new worlds through languages and helping them see that everyone can learn another language or improve their English skills. I have taught languages in the classroom, but I prefer working one-on-one where there is time to get to know the students, help them overcome their particular difficulties and take into account their personalities, goals and learning styles.

My son is trying to improve his Spanish conversational skills and grammar skills. Since starting with Kadi a month ago, his confidence in speaking and knowledge of sentence structure has improved greatly. He's, also, having fun with it and looks forward to his sessions with Kadi.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
