She encouraged me through a lively conversation and she pays good attention to grammar and the meaning of words. She understands how language works.
She works with me at my pace. I would like to move quickly and she is there to accommodate my needs.
She is tutoring our family as we prepare for travel to Italy. She's as adept with the young children as she as with the adults. She uses useful tools like flash cards and prepared scripts, and encourages acting out conversations suitable for real-life situations.
To me, learning Italian is not easy. Lorella's methods make it easy. Also I found the explanation of the Italian language to be very interesting. It was a fun lesson.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
