I believe creativity plays a vital role in self-expression and personal growth, and I’m dedicated to helping students discover their inner voice and develop their artistic talents.
With a Bachelor's degree in Art Education and a certification in AP Portfolio Prep, I’ve taught art to students in public schools, summer camps, paint-n-sip studios, and through one-on-one private lessons. My favorite aspect of teaching is seeing the joy in someone’s eyes once they grasped a new skill and created something they are proud of, and ensuring each person I work with is comfortable in the process of achieving improvement is my highest priority.
I’m adept at tailoring lesson plans to individual student needs, ensuring that each session is engaging, relevant, and challenging. Painting and drawing are my specialties, but I’m also experienced working with most 2D and 3D mediums, and can provide guidance about art history, portfolio preparation, mural making, and the business side of being a professional artist.
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve witnessed the profound impact art can have on students' lives - fostering self-empowerment, enhancing problem-solving skills, and improving visual literacy.
