Jessica was a great tutor and very encouraging for my daughter. In particular, my daughters test grades improved from C to A and was scoring some of the highest math scores in her High School Math II class by the end of semester last year.

I would recommend Jessica to anyone interested in really improving their math knowledge and grades.

Jessica helped me with some precalc work I had to do and she was very nice and very helpful! I would definitely use her again.

Jessica was patient and knowledgable. She carefully explained how to work problems step by step. I liked how she explained why she worked out equations in a particular way.

Test Preparation:

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

In mathematics, you need to be able to set up an equation as well as solve it! In order to do this, a student needs a strong foundation in Algebra and Prealgebra. I can help with that. I have taught an Algebra course (whether it were Integrated Math I, II, or III, Algebra II, or Honors Algebra II) every year since I began teaching in 2004.

In order to learn the upper level mathematics concepts, you need a strong foundation in Algebra! I can most definitely help with that! I am great at helping students set up and solve equations. After all, a student needs to be able to explain his or her work!

I was AP Calculus AB certified in 2008. I taught AP Calculus AB the following school year.

I taught Integrated Math I, II, and/or III, which included many proofs! There are a lot of important terms students must understand to be successful in Geometry, thus successful in Trig, Precalc. and Calc. I can definitely help with this, as I have taught a variety of math classes throughout my seven years experience.

I have taught a variety of math courses throughout my seven years experience in teaching. A majority of these courses were upper level courses, so my prealgebra skills and understanding are exceptional...they have to be!

I taught Honors Precalculus for four years. I have also taught Algebra III/Trig for three years before that in PA (basically Precalculus). This is the course I have the most experience, because I have taught it to some extent ever since I began teaching in 2004.
