About Marti

I currently live just outside of Charlotte on Lake Tillery. I have been studying photography and photography concepts for 5 years and I stay focused and up to date on the latest trends and techniques. I am devoted to teaching these concepts to any level. Whether it be basic fundamentals or understanding the technical settings, I am passionate about teaching what I love.

My tutoring procedure begins with establishing each individual's current knowledge and special interests they have and from there providing knowledge and information based on this. I want to make certain that the expectations of the student are met and satisfaction from the teaching given is strong.

I find that showing someone how to adjust settings in particular surroundings is not as effective as having them do it with me. Getting familiar with your own camera and knowing how to adjust the settings thoroughly as well as understanding these functions is a fantastic start to mastering photography.

In addition to hands on experience, I provide written material to take with you to review.
