I am a mother of three with 17 years of teaching experience! I started off teaching kindergarten, where I was overjoyed to be in the beginning stages of a child's educational development. I currently teach prealgebra/algebra one in 8th grade at one of the local middle schools. Teaching is my passion! I care about the "whole" child, and not just a test score or a math statistic! I am very active in my community in/out of school. I teach children that they are life's success story. I believe in everyone I come into contact with!

They know the value of quality education, as I, too, have learned from my parents. I know that I was born to teach, and I take great pride in what I do!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
