Personally, I am an English and writing tutor. I have taught at all grade levels as well as the collegiate level. My areas of concentration have been at the high school and freshmen college level. I love writing and helping students through the writing process. I also love grammar, yes that is right, I love it! I make grammar an interesting journey with the grammar ladder. I understand what colleges are requiring and thus, I work to prepare students for becoming successful.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
