Bob Jones University (History)
I have my Bachelors Degree in History from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. I graduated cum laude in 2010. I then moved to Hawaii and in a span of 3 years, taught US History, World History, US Government, and Economics to grades 7, 10, 11,and 12. I also taught 1st grade and Pre-Algebra in 2 summer school sessions. I am a huge book worm, so my interests also lay in English Literature. I have read many of the classics, plus many of the current best sellers.
I am a passionate, enthusiastic person! I loved being able to share my knowledge with my students, and hopefully some of my passion and love learning too. I believe that a good, strong, challenging education is essential to every single child and I do not believe in failure. If a child works hard, I believe that he or she can succeed!
As before mentioned, I am passionate and excited about English Literature. Reading is my favorite thing to do and I want kids to see how amazing it can be! I made all A's in any English class that I have taken, from Elementary School to College.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in History, and 3 years experience of teaching History. I love History and believe that many lessons can be learned from it. Those who do not study History are doomed to repeat it and kids are the future. There are many things that must not be repeated, so kids need to study History.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
