My experience includes teaching 13 years of mathematics in middle and high school. During this time, I have tutored dozens of students outside of school hours. I have worked with math curriculum at the district level for 4 years. My most recent position is with district and state testing.

Amy has been great with tutoring my son in Honors Calculus. He really takes to her teaching style and firmly believes he wouldn't be getting an A in the class without her help. We would highly recommend her as a math tutor!
Amy is organized and patient tutor for the GRE. As a person that has been out of school for many, many years, I appreciated the way she sought out my strengths and weaknesses to help tailor my lessons. She ensures I stay on task with a lot of practice and review during our sessions. She is readily accessible. I would definitely recommend this professional educator.
Amy has exceeded our expectations in helping us get ready for the SAT! She's fit in a tutor session as she juggles her regular job and her family. She gets it done! Many thanks, Amy for the patience, caring and conscientiousness you've show us.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
