About Medo

About Me & Qualifications:

I study Electronic Engineering at Georgia Tech and am here in North Carolina for an internship. I think the most important part of learning is having an intuition about concepts. I enjoy teaching and helping others gain intuition. I have been a tutor all through high-school and tutor at my university when I am not here interning. My greatest hobby is travelling. I have a 3.90 GPA at Georgia Tech. As an Electronic Engineer, I have an intuitive understanding of Physics, Calculus and Mathematics and their applications. I will help you get that first-hand understanding.

I have received a 5 in AP Calculus, AP Physics 1 & 2, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science and other APs in subjects that I do not tutor. I have received a 760 on Sat Math 1 and 780 on Sat Math 2. In addition to that, I have got to my senior at Georgia Tech with a major specific GPA of 3.9 (3.85 overall).

My previous tutoring experience showed me that different people have different styles of learning. I will be able to identify your style of learning and explain things to you in the way that suits you best. This is where having a private tutor is an advantage. In addition, my industry experience give me and advantage over regular teachers who may have never worked with practical applications of the concepts they are teaching.

How I teach:

I will first arrange a free consultation with you in which we talk about yourself, your goals, and your learning style. I will have you solve a survey and possibly a quiz to better understand you. In this consultation we can get to know each other.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
